Charles Darwin has a posse

Chaz has a posse

Colin Purrington of Swarthmore has done it again, exploiting the media to spread a subversive message. This time, it's another pro-evolution theme: Darwin has a posse. Download the pdfs and follow the instructions to create bookmarks, labels, temporary tattoos, etc., all bearing the logo to the left.

Dammit PZ. You were clearly told during initiation that no one is allowed to talk about The Posse, even if someone else brought it up. You know what I have to do now according to Posse Rules ..

Um, DarkSyde. You just, kind of, like, talked about The Posse, so, you see, uh, that means ...

Oh, damn!

If someone were to start a guerilla campaign to plaster Darwin Posse stickers on, say, IMAX theaters in the South, that would be pretty nifty. Not that I would advoc

...advocate vandalism, of course.

OK, I've put this in the mast rotation, but if
some Creationist mofo's come 'round, I expect
you to have my back PZ.

Very very cool tattoos.

Thanks for mentioning that, ScottMcG. We have a great (or so I thought) public science center here in Charlotte, NC - the Discovery Place. They are refusing to play this IMAX film due to "controversy about evolution." I might have to put your guerilla campaign into action here. Christ, I can see how school boards could be politically subjugated, but a science museum?

As I also said on PT, Darwin probably weighed more than 163 lbs, especially near the end of his life.

Also, Florida legislators want college students to have the right to sue pro-evolution professors. (via Fark)

I refuse to download anything unless he retracts his horrible idea that they should replace extra credit points in college biology classes. I quite like those extra credit points!

"Florida legislators want college students to have the right to sue..."

OK, now I'm completely sure that the whole "left/right" scale is entirely hosed.

Take that article, subtract 35 years from the date, change "Tallahassee, Florida" to "Berkeley, California", interchange all the party affiliations, and you have a situation in which somebody would accuse the sponsor of the bill of being so far to the left that Stalin wouldn't be able to see him without an eight-inch telescope.
