Sorry, I don't give prizes, but you can bask in the warm, self-satisfied glow of having made some numbers tick around to a bunch of zeroes…and really, isn't that enough for any human being?

(I do find "Visit Length: 0 seconds" a little disturbing. What did you do? Take one look and run screaming?)

Unfortunately, the visit lasted only 0 seconds. Oh well, more for those of us who stick around for actual amounts of time to, you know, read and stuff.

Geez, and here I am all happy that I just passed 150,000 visitors.

At the rate I'm going, it'll take only another 5-7 years to hit 2,000,000!

Actually, you should not be worried by the 0 seconds. This is typically measured time between when a visitor accesses your first webpage of their visit, and when they access the last webpage. Unfortunately it is not possible to detect with when they left your website for a different website.

Oh. That's not quite as dramatic.

Alternative hypothesis: This person checks the page frequently, saw the main page, and with ninja-like swiftness noticed no update and moved on.

Browser Mozilla 1.2.1

Uh-huh, they can bask in that self-satisfied glow until their out-of-date browser gets compromised. Then they'll be off-line for a few days while they clean up the ****.

Update your browser now!

YEs this was the Christ - beware people! The Christ is a sneaky fake christ and ultraswift. He is a number freak and monkey ape. A revolting and dissheveled wreck fed by the violation of the TRUE god and a spendthrift through all the contelleastion of the south which are now GONE.

Mathematics is a beggars charade and fake and false on every level I used heart and soul in the formation of TERRA.

PErhaps you woul like my scientific and memorious touches on the history of the earth formation and the evolution via theta enhancement, vitamin growth, and careful inspection adn constructs. I believ ethe GHOST UNHOLY to have been a dirty bird and blasphemous to be uttered let alone transgressed and forgiven for which see the work of the unter creation.

I am the lord thy god I can disshevel this earth via worm and ape. Reptoids are now disparated. I hav e the interior form of the octoid or nautilus.

Or maybe the millionth visitor was using a reader that required but a microsecond to download the new material since the last visit for a leisurely browse off-line.

Congrats PZ! Do you get that kind of information from anyone that stops here..? OS? Monitor resolution? Browser? Huh..

Can somebody explain to me why I am getting hundreds of hits from this referrer:
http://www.google.com/url?sa=D&q=http%3A%2F%2Fcircadiana.blogspot.com%2F

When I click on it, it just takes me to my blog homepage, but this is obviously some kind of Google search or Google page.

#39734: coturnix — 09/13  at  12:14 AM
Sorry. Mystery solved. The hits are coming from the Blogger Dashboard "Blogs of Note".

#39883: — 09/13  at  02:48 PM
Uhmmm... well, I guess there are strong chances that the mystery person was me wink. But I'm sure it took longer than 0 secs... wink))

Update your browser now!

I'm using Firefox 1.0.4. It might not be the latest, but I don't think that it's soooooo outdated.....
