I survived, and a reminder

The Tangled Bank

The trip went smoothly, and we all made it there and back again without a hitch. My son did insist on a stop at Bed, Bath, and Beyond which does have me a little concerned, but otherwise there were no road disasters at all.

Now on to the important stuff: The Tangled Bank! It's coming next week! Have you sent a link to Chris Clarke of Creek Running North yet? Send them to host@tangledbank.net or pzmyers@pharyngula.org by Tuesday if you hope to join the company of us freaks who think the natural world is a pretty dang wonderful thing.

I think I sent my submission before I went to the beach. Have I?

How can we be sure you're not an alien disguised as PZ?

Send me your address, and I'll have my proof fly over.

Why are you concerned with your son's stop at BB&B? Just wondering...

Oh no, Dr. Myers! Your son must have caught the gay! Quick, take him to the Discovery Institute so they can tell him how homosexuality is unnatural.

You don't have to be teh gay to enjoy scents, or even French...

This is off topic, PZ, but why didn't you tell us you'd gotten a job writing for the Daily Show?

Kudos on the fine work about two minutes into this short clip, right after the Robert Novak thing.

The link doesn't work. If you've confused me with Rob Cordry, though, I swear I've got more hair than that.

I re-sent it to you. I hope you got it.

Also, I tried to post a link to a blog-post that shows that Bed, Bath and Beyond is a Deep Blue company, but your spam-block rejected the URL.

Was your son looking for stuff for his dorm room at BBB?

You guessed it.

Try this, and click on the clip entitled "It's a miracle!

PZ, there's no link here yet, but History Channel is running an African human origins series starting tomorrow. Anyway, I wondered if they were going to catch any flack and, not surprisingly, it's started.

It'll be interesting to see how they handle it.

Ooops. That link doesn't go where I wanted it to. Anyway, the series is here and the discussions link is under "You Tell Us" on the toolbar at the top of the page.
