If you are Michael Savage you tell the manager to have the busboy move the bowl. But, really, why the hell doesn't he move it himself? Perhaps, like Monk, he has some OCD variant. Does that give him leave to inflict his behavior on others? Via Pharangula....

I sympathise with Savages intent but not his manner. I wouldn't want to get up to wash my hands in the middle of my dinner either.

But I would also definitely not take a pet to dinner, especially if I was so aware of the problems with hygiene as he was. He was rude not only to the restaurant staff but to the guests as well.

But the guy must be stupid funny. If you look at his web site there is a tee shirt as with a busty girl and the text "Get the gear that liberals fear!" Now, why should a liberal fear a nice bust? Does he think they have to take sides, or what?

He could have just used a napkin to avoid touching the bowl directly, then asked for a new napkin.
