It is interesting to note that squids, like the Flying Spaghetti Monster, have noodly like appendages. Could this morphological similarity be an indication of a deeper relationship? We know, thanks to Bobby Henderson of the first church of Flying Spaghetti Monster, that global warming is inversely related to the number of pirates. If squids are responsible for the decline in pirates and thus the rise in global temperatures it would suggest that the Flying Spaghetti Monster may be using squids as intermediaries. Could squids be part of the Flying Spaghetti Monster hierarchy? Should we be paying more attention to squids?
