One more week...

Spring term begins one week from Monday. Moan.

I’m teaching a new course this term, in Human Physiology, and I’ve been struggling to pull it all together. At least I can lean on the class notes from the previous instructor, Van Gooch, and I’ve been able to throw together a rough draft of the syllabus, so I sort of feel like I know what I’m doing. I’ve taught a similar course before, so the biology content is no worry.

Still, it’s 80 students and a new class—this is not going to be an easy term for me. At least I hope it will be a fun semester...even if I have to drag myself over the finish line in May. I promise not to whimper about it here, but there may be periods of spotty updates, and the content may start drifting more towards general physiology related stuff. Or maybe it’ll go the other way towards weird non-physiological miscellany as I try to escape from Tortora and Grabowski!

Hey, maybe we can compare notes -- I'm teaching A&P for the first time this semester too.

Bow down to Tortora! And make sure it doesn't fall on you...
