Prospective Darwin Award winners

At long last, we have a video recording of the secret origins of the Powerline boys, in which we discover exactly why that one guy had the nickname "Hindrocket."

I showed this one to my daughter, too. It's a good lesson: I explained to her that teenaged boys were really, really, really stupid, and she should stay away from them. This little video was very convincing.

"So yesterday someone here was arguing that the definition of 'try anything once' meant something positive. This is proof that some people dont see it quite that way."

Did you mean me? But I also said that I wouldn't try anything irreversible lightly. Blowing ones intestines in and testes out could count as that. I am not quite as fond of hindsight as Hindrocket.

I guess after ID gets booted they'll attack with "Fundie Science".

Well, they've been using that one already. It's not uncommon to see some version of the phrase "Darwinian fundamentalism" thrown around by Creationists. I'm not one to suscribe to silly pop-psychology, but the term "projection" suggests itself.

It's been done. Those guys stole that stunt from the Jackass movie. (Am I the only Pharyngula reader who saw it?) http://www.jackassthemovie.com I guess they didn't read the warning:
