The Creationist Patrol!

image

Don't worry about the evolution of antibiotic resistance—in our grand new future, the Creationist Patrol will lead our scientists down fruitful paths of novel research.

(For those who don't want to click through Salon, here's a copy.)

There are near enough tentacles in the comic for my taste.

Think you could copy and repost the whole comic here? I'm sick of Salon and their stupid video ads, and this one just seems to keep looping; it won't give me the "Day Pass" at all. (For what it's worth. Salon's "day pass" usually only lasts a couple of hours anyway.)

Thanks. Hilarious! Reminds me of the Tom Tomorrow strip a few weeks back. ("Intelligent delivery!")

We need to alert the Creation Patrol to Stephen Quake's new anti-evolution petri dish! [As heard on NPR.] Evolution screws up biomedical experiments because bugs in traditional media evolve in the changing environment caused by their own waste products (a phenomenon also observed in the cable news environment), and this new invention greatly reduces selective pressure during experiments.

Quake's work is probably Creation Patrol-approved because it eliminates evolution.

It looks like the US is in for more trouble with wilfully ignorant and dishonest anti-science creationists busting in everywhere if the Supreme Court is no longer going to be capable of stopping them because it has been compromised further.

Funny strip. Painfully so, since there are apparently quite a few yoyos in Kansas and other states who take the role of Creationist Keystone Kop seriously.

(And yeah, I decided it was better to use only two Ks in the above description - as much as using three might fit.)
