That is good news. That's the only decent zoo within driving distance of Ft Smith, and I was hating the notion of boycotting it.

Oh don't think SuperDan Hicks and his bandy of fundie friends (including Tulsa's Mayor) is gonna let this drop now.

"The zoo has basically put themselves right back in the position they were when the petitioners started this. They have religious displays; that is not debatable."


When I did my post on it I came across Bubba World's great background info on the ordeal. I fully expect the Flat Earth Society to file a friend of fundie brief to complain about that marble globe they have supporting the anti-religious notion that the earth is a sphere.
