Worm Porn!

mating nematodes

Whoa. Check out the extremely cool movies in the Ward Lab gallery at the University of Arizona—all kinds of hot worm-on-worm action. The Ward lab is studying the development and maturation of sperm in the nematode worm, Caenorhabditis elegans, and they have put up a collection of movies and photographs of mating worms (very slithery), closeups of throbbing vulvas, migrating sperm, and even mutant sperm. The only thing missing is a cheesy Seventies soundtrack of chicka-chicka-boom music.

And if your taste runs more to the written word than the distracting visuals, they also have a good online bibliography with papers that can be downloaded.

Very cool. Possibly a new fetish?

Now, that is some hot stuff. Better than lawn chair porn, I'd say.
